Each 15 ml contains:
Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C)  100 mg
Thiamine Hcl (Vitamin B1) 5 mg 
Riboflavin (as 5-sodium phosphate) (Vitamin B2) 3 mg
Pyridoxine Hcl (Vitamin B6)  2 mg
Calcium pantothenate 5 mg
Nicotinamide 20 mg

Excipients: sodium benzoate, citric acid, sugar, tutti frutti, cherry.

Pharmaceutical form: Syrup.

Pharmacological actions:
Vitamin C is essential for the formation of collagen and intercellular material, it also influences the formation of hemoglobin and erythrocyte maturation.
Vitamin B1 combines in the body with adenosine triphosphate (ATP) to form thiamine pyrophosphate, a coenzyme in carbohydrate metabolism.
Vitamin B2 is required for tissue respiration and indirectly involved in maintaining erythrocyte integrity.
Vitamin B6 is essential for the metabolism of certain aminoacids, carbohydrates and lipids and the synthesis of heme and GABA, an inhibitory neurotransmitter.
Calcium pantothenate is a precursor of coenzyme A and is essential for acetylation reactions in gluconeogenesis, carbohydrate and lipid metabolism, and in the synthesis of steroid hormones, porphyrins and acetylcholine.
Nicotinamide is essential for glycogenolysis, tissue respiration and lipid metabolism.

Varolex-C syrup is readily absorbed from gastrointestinal tract, metabolized in the liver and excreted renally.

Varolex-C syrup is indicated in prevention or treatment of vitamins deficiency.

Dosage & administration:

Prevention of vitamins deficiency:
One teaspoonful from once to three times daily.

One teaspoonful from once to twice daily.

Treatment of vitamins deficiency:
Two tablespoonful from once to twice daily.

Two tablespoonful from once to three times daily.

Varolex-C syrup is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the product.

Pregnancy & Lactation:
No adverse effects are reported with intake of normal daily doses during pregnancy and lactation.
