Betasone Betamethasone (micronized) 0.5mg Tablets GENERIC NAME: Betamethasone (micronized) COMPOSITION: Each tablet contains: Active ingredient: Betamethasone (micronised) 0.5mg Excipients: Lactose monohydrate, corn starch, gelatin, Dye, FD & C blue,magnesium stearate. PHARMACEUTICAL FORM: Blue round flat ,beveled ,single tablet scored from one side.(scoring is non functional ) CONTRAINDICATIONS: Do not administer to the following patients: 1) Patients with a history of hypersensitivity to the ingredients of this drug. 2) Desmopressin acetate hydrate (for nocturnal enuresis) (see Interactions section) GENERAL CONTRAINDICATION: Generally, do not administer to the following patients, but administer with caution if particularly necessary: 1) Patients with infections or systemic mycosis for which there are no effective antibacterial agents [Symptoms may be exacerbated by immunosuppressive effects]. 2) Patients with peptic ulcer (ulcer Healing (tissue repair) may be compromised). 3) Patients with psychosis [It may affect neurotransmitters in the limbic system and exacerbate symptoms.] 4) Patients with tuberculosis disease [symptoms exacerbated due to immunosuppression . 5) Patients with herpes simplex keratitis [Symptoms may be aggravated by immune function suppression.] 6) Patients with posterior capsule cataract [symptoms may be exacerbated.] 7) Patients with glaucoma [Glaucoma may be aggravated by increased intraocular pressure.] 8) Patients with hypertension [hypertension may be aggravated by electrolyte metabolism.] 9) Patients with electrolyte abnormalities [Electrolyte abnormalities may be aggravated by electrolyte metabolism.] 10) Patients with thrombosis [There is a case where sometimes Symptoms are exacerbated by blood coagulation.] 11) Patients with recent visceral surgical wounds on internal organs [Wound healing (tissue repair) may be impaired.] 12) Patients with acute myocardial infarction [There is a report of cardiac rupture.] INDICATIONS AND EFFECTS: *Chronic adrenal cortical insufficiency (primary, secondary, pituitary, iatrogenic), *acute adrenal cortical insufficiency (adrenal crisis), *adrenal genital syndrome, *sub-acute thyroiditis, thyrotoxicosis [thyroid (toxic) crisis], malignant ocular protrusion with thyroid disease, *isolated ACTH deficiency, *Pituitary suppression test. * Rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (including Still's disease), rheumatic fever (including rheumatic carditis), polymyalgia rheumatic, lupus erythematosus (systemic and chronic discoid), systemic vasculitis (including Takayasu's arteritis, polyarteritis nodosa, microscopic polyangiitis, granulomatosis polyangiitis), polymyositis (dermatomyositis) , scleroderma nephrosis and nephrotic syndrome. *"Congestive heart failure *Bronchial asthma, asthmatic bronchitis (including pediatric
